The SKB GigSafe takes the top 14U+ rack spaces of the Mighty GigRig and puts it in an easier to handle case. The GigSafe includes two large side-mounted handles that allow the load to be balanced when carrying. The lid is extended so XLR cables can remain plugged into your mixer. The GigSafe also includes 4 recessed latches that can be used to secure to the top of the 1SKB-REX6 Expander Rack to provide the same amount of mounting rack units as the Mighty GigRig. With the addition of the 1SKB-R3224 wheel dolly, the SKB GigSafe and Expander can be maneuvered with ease.

  • TOP NOTCH CASE!

    This is the second case I had bought for my Presonus Studio Live 16. I first tried a case by a competitor that "looked" better in the pictures online. Long story short - it was not better. This SKB case was recommended by the local Presonus Rep for the Studio Live 16 even though it is not listed as a compatible case. This case is amazing! It gives ample room in front to access the headphone jack and room in the back for all your extra cables. The board fits in the rack space and is held secure by the rack rails. The other case I had tried prior just sat the board in side the case and held it in by velcro which did not support it well. The handles on this case are heavy duty and really surprised me with the strength. They are much stronger than they appear from the pictures online. I have cases for all sorts of equipment and this is by far the best so far. It is even better than a custom case I had crafted for a larger board for over 500 dollars!
