  • Sick Case

    I bought the SKB large stand case with wheels for a 3 week tour I was supposed to do, but things don't always work as we plan, 1 date down and 4 dates to go this case holds up perfectly. I love the built in straps on the inside of the case, they really keep all my hardware together so nothing moves around too bad. Speaking of hardware, the size of the case is just perfect for everything I have: hi-hat stand, 3 cymbal stands, 2 snare stands, throne, floor tom legs,double pedal, and I also keep a practice pad and my stick bag in it as well. This case is perfect for anyone who gigs, or has to move their drums from one location to another frequently. The wheels are a major plus, I wouldn't have purchased the case if it wasn't for the wheels.

  • Serves The Purpose

    I got this case to use for drum hardware, I have a Gibraltar Rack System with curved tubing that's too long for a conventional drum case. This case works fine, if a little cramped as far as the seat to my drum throne is concerned. I was pleasantly surprised at the TSA approved locking latches.

    A high quality case, as can be expected from SKB. Fits perfectly along the floor of my back seat (I have a mid-sized SUV) and it has no problems fitting all my hardware securely with enough extra space to fit another whole set of hardware. When you load it up, it can be a bit heavy, but the wheels, multiple handles, and a strong back can help that out. With a lifetime warranty and quality this good, it'll pay for itself the first time you drop it down a flight of stairs and nothing is damaged.
