    I rate this case 5 stars because it can take a little manhandling w/out any tears in the outer material like the wood covered cases eventually get. It also seals out a little rain better than those wood covered cases. This is a nice feature since I live near Portland,Or. Also, it has enough storage for a pack of strings, string twister, pitch pipe, 9volt batt., string cutters, a tin of picks, a capo, and my strap. If you own a quality dreadnought and want quality protection this is a case to look into watson.

  • The sturdiest case you can buy

    Last weekend I left my guitar leaning against my friend's car. Unknowingly, he backed over it, crushing the case with both sets of wheels. When I opened the broken case, the guitar was completely unharmed. Until then I had occasionally complained about the weight of the case (although it doesn't weigh any more than most hard cases) and the hard plastic handle, this thing is the best and cheapest insurance for your instrument you can imagine. It also lasts an incredibly long time. In the seven years I have owned and abused this case, all of the latches and the handle are still intact and functional.

  • Love the case!

    I've had my case for the past six years, and it's been to countless gigs and jam sessions, and has travelled to Oregon and Washington many times. The only thing I would change (and the only reason I'm giving it four stars, rather than five) about the design, if it were possible, would be to add a litle more storage compartment space. The compartment in this case is very small, compared to that of your typical (conventional) wood cases. Other than that, I love the case, and it's done a fine job of protecting my Alvarez!
