NEW REVIEW - Great Case

I own several different cases for strats and teles. At first I was skeptical but have come to really like this case. The latches are easy to use and the case is well built. It fits my strats and tele very nicely. The case is very light compared to the traditional Fender tweed/tolex cases. The only negative is the lack of a compartment with a lid to hold picks or trem bars. For this reason I keep the tele in the case and put my strats in cases with compartments.

Great Case

This case is awesome. It has everything you need, and nothing you don't want. It's simple and extremely durable, especially the locks on it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a case that fit most traditional body style guitars (it fits my Ibanez RG, my PRS and my Fender Strat just fine). Great value, very durable.

Nice guitar case

I needed a guitar case that I could use not only for my new fender strat but one that I could take with me on vacations and trips back home that could survive the plane flight since you usually have to check them as baggage. I think I found the right case. Built tough and even has a TSA lock so I don't have to leave the case open and take a chance of someone tampering with my guitar. For those of you who don't know what a TSA lock is, it is a lock with a code on it which airport security has a key for. That allows you to lock your baggage but still gives them access to inspect the bag if they choose. I have these locks on my luggage as well and it sure is peace of mind knowing I can still lock my luggage even with all of the security requirements going on today. I guess this is my strongest point about the case. The case is made well and the guitar fits snuggly inside. I just wish the compartments on the side had lids on them instead of relying on the top of the case to keep the contents in place. Picks and such get out and inside the guitar section of the case the way it is designed without a lid. Other than that it is a great product.

This SKB-66 rocks

I wanted a nice hard shell case for a strat I made for my son and this fit the bill better than anything else I could find. The case is well made and has the TSA locks, which means the SKB-66 will not have its locks destroyed if the TSA people want to peek inside at the airport - they have the key. Also liked the fact this case is molded rather than having the big square one size fits all opening that other cases have for the body. Lastly, the case says "Made in Orange County, California," which was an unexpected plus.

Absolutely Amazing Case!

This case will fit my Strat and my Schecter C-1 Classic like a glove. It also fits 35 other makes/models per the SKB website and is one of the best products I've ever bought. The only critique that I have is there is limited storage space (I bet some straps may not fit!). Other than that, it's a dream. I know my guitars will be forever grateful for incredible safety, comfort and reliability they will have in their home away from home!
