I selected this case after looking at many. For my purposes, which does not include air travel, it is a good value. It is made well and supports the entire neck of the guitar. The lining is extra plush. The case seems strong and the latches are tough. It seals good enough for home storage and car travel. If I were to travel by plane, I would step up to a more expensive case with a tougher skin and a gasketed lid. This is a good case for the money if used in the right application.
I just picked this case up with my new Martin while I was in the United States. Sent it all the way back home to Australia and it did a great job of protecting my guitar. Hardly a nick on the outer shell and it also has the TSA lock so you don't need to leave it unlocked while sending it through.
The only vulnerability of this SCK case is if something heavy hits it dead center over the lower bout. It's possible to flex it inward right where the bridge is. The padding is good and you've nothing to fear with the latches. The overall fit and finish gets an "A", and the compartment is sizeable. A determined airline baggage handler could destroy it with enough malice or gross negligence, but other than that, you're fine. This is the case I supply by default to my customers. But I tell them to insure it if they fly.
