  If you're like me and work takes you out of town for both long and short stretches of time not letting you play enough that you start to lose your callouses this item is perfect. I'm usually gone for a day at the least to weeks at a time and can't play this has helped me to keep my callouses. It will help beginners to develop the callouses to play guitar as most people that quit playing, quit due to the finger pain. Advanced players can also use it to gain deeper and harder callouses as well. One of the things that I do like best is that it is light, small and travels easily with you. I'd recommend it to anyone that is looking to play or does play.

  Not afraid to admit that I'm a woosie when it comes to pain. The tips of my fingers are very sensitive so the last time I decided to learn acoustic guitar I gave up. This time I bought the Ruff Rider and spent two weeks using it every day, several times a day before I ever picked up the guitar. It helped build thin callus' that made it much easier to practice my guitar. Only gripe I have is that I think it could be just a tad bit larger. Give it a try!

  My job keeps me away from home and I can't bring a guitar. I bought this product to keep my finger calluses while away from my guitar. It works very well with its compact size you can use it anywhere and anytime. This product is more than what I expected for the price. It is very lightweight and easy to carry but has a sturdy feel to it.
