Amazing Keyboard

from Windsor, Ontario

Comments about Roland RD-300GX Package:

Has an amazing feel. Nicely weighted. I'm not sure why this other guy said the output was low. If i max out my headphones they hurt my ears its so loud. Putting it near half max is a good level for me. And the outputs to my PA are loud enough as well, i usually have my slider near half on my key board too. One thing that lacks in this keyboard, which pretty much every keyboard lacks is the sounds. I usually only use the piano and electric piano sounds. I dont like the synths. If you want good up to date synths you'll have to use VSTi and use this keyboard as a MIDI trigger to your laptop. I love this keyboard. Very happy i bought it. Well worth the money.

RD-300GX not quite good enough.

from Orlando, Fl

Comments about Roland RD-300GX Package:

I previously owned an RD-700 and RD-700SX and have great experiences with both. The 300GX has however been a big disappointment. The volume output is quite low requiring that I max out the volume level on my amp. The volume from the headphone jack is barely audible. I took the keyboard to a Roland authoized service center and the volume levels were checked and was told that this is normal for the 300GX. Calls to Roland to discuss the issue are not returned. I have owned the RD-700 and RD-700SX. This experience will be my last with a Roland production.
