This thing is designed to break, so you'll have to buy more. The figure 8 cord that fits into the socket is ill fitting and will break. I bought a new figure 8 cord that fits better. C'mon ROland, give me a break. Next time I will try a generic adapter and see how that works.

Comments about PSB 120 POWER ADAPTER SAME AS PSB 1U:

It's a power cord. It's reasonably priced and it works. I bought it for a Roland TD-9 drum set, but apparently it can be used for a bunch of other Roland 'instruments'. My only complaint is with GC's shipping. If you pay for next day, just be prepared for 'next day and a half'. Same goes for 2 day. Just add 12 hours to your delivery time. Maybe it's the ups delivery schedule in my area(3-5 days, what's another 12 hours right?), but if you pay for next day and get it 36 hours later...

My Roland only works with a Roland power supply, so I needed this quickly as we were playing the next week. Just a few days later it was at my door in perfect shape and ready to go.

The main problem with these is that they don't last a very long time. The cords are very plastic feeling and stiff. It's no wonder that they usually break.

Does what I need it to

            By HOWARD

Comments about Roland PSB-120 Power Adapter:

Purchased to use on my new Roland MicroCube to save the batteries. Haven't used live, since I am using the MicroCube as it was intended, no power needed. But when I am at home practicing, I use the PS. No problems at all. Would be nice if I have theMicroCube turned off, the PS turns off. The green light on the main body is always on, thus drawing AC power. I have to remember to unplug from the wall when not using.
