why isn't this 2 times the price?

By Roy

from MI

Comments about Roland KC-150 Keyboard Combo Amp:

The Rolane KC-150 Keyboard Mixing Amp is a must have for keyboardists. The tone is so smooth and clear that if you have a buddy close your eyes and have you play, he'd think it was a grand piano! Quite portable and very durable. Thanks Roland!

Great Amp

By Bob

from Melrose, MA

Comments about Roland KC-150 Keyboard Combo Amp:

Powerful amp with very clean sound. I can't believe there is so much volume for the small size and weight. The low end is VERY good on this amp. I also use this for my Takamine electric acoustic and it sounds terrific.

Great Amp

By what?

from Washington

Comments about Roland KC-150 Keyboard Combo Amp:

Great amp, but doesn't do well with the really high tones on a piano when it is at seven or eight on the line and overall volumes. Besides that it is a great machine. I highly suggest you get it.

Good for drummers

By Marcus

from Henderson, NV

Comments about Roland KC-150 Keyboard Combo Amp:

FOR DRUMMERS: The KC-150 is the lowest you want to go if you play a full kit. It keeps up with my real drums at about 3/4 volume on all levels and other devices. (Roland SPD-30, and a BOSS RE-20 = endless fun!) Out of the box it is sounding great! I can only imagine what the sub will sound like underneath...

Big Sound, Small Amp

By Gary Morin

from Leominster, Mass. 01453

Comments about Roland KC-150 Keyboard Combo Amp:

The KC 150 is a must for keyboard players. As an accordion player, the sound is clean and strong. No pops or unusual noises. I was impressed with it's broad sound considering it's size. The second nice feature is the light weight. You won't be tired bringing this to the gig. I used it "cold turkey" last night and was thrilled! It's also set up for using external speakers. Go for it.. it's worth it's weight in gold!

Comments about Roland KC-150 Keyboard Combo Amp:

This is a good amp to use with a digital piano and amplified acoustic guitar. The frequency response covers the entire range of the piano and works well with the grand piano and pipe organ instrument sounds on my piano. It also works well with a nylon string guitar with a piezo pickup. The treble can occasionally sound a bit shrill. The sound volume is sufficient for a large living room. I had a ground-loop hum issue at first that was cured by a ebtech Hum X hum filter.

Comments about Roland KC-150 Keyboard Combo Amp:

This is a great all around amp. Have used it for a PA system at parties and events mostly for announcer, but have used it for playing back ground music also. Sounds good with a keyboard, but keep in mind that it is a smaller amp not suitable for stand alone when playing with a full band. Played Guitar and even Bass through it and is great for a practice amp. This is a great amp for some one who wants an amp for home practice that is versatile.
