The Roland CUBE-15XL guitar combo amp continues to push the envelope of innovative amp technology and design, just as its CUBE predecessors have done before it. The CUBE 15-XL dishes out 15 watts of power through an 8" high-performance speaker.

The CUBE 15-XL has two channels, Clean and Lead, with three BOSS distortion circuits to choose from including the legendary Metal Zone and the new Extreme. Activate the Power Squeezer to achieve full gain at low volume, and use the aux in to connect your music player and jam along with your favorite tunes.

Five Amps in OneThe CUBE-15XL is small and portable yet delivers big-time tone! In all, five amp types are available for instant selection. The Lead channel provides four aggressive choices: three BOSS distortion circuits—Overdrive, Distortion, Metal Zone—and Roland's newly designed Extreme. Each offers its own unique brand of bite. The Clean channel takes you 180 degrees in the other direction with its pure, transparent tone.

Power Squeeze
Ever wished you could achieve awesome full-volume sound at a lower level? Power Squeezer gives you crushing, full-gain tone even at low volume, letting you experience a dense, overdriven sound without blowing the windows out of your bedroom. Enjoy monster tone at any volume setting, from whisper soft to full blast.

Aux Input, Record Output
You can jam along with your favorite songs by plugging a portable music player into the CUBE-15XL's Auxiliary Input. Conversely, you can use the Record Output to feed your signal directly into an external recorder, shaping your tone with the CUBE-15XL's amp models and EQ. The Record Output can also be used as a headphone out for private practice.

Amazing Practice Amp!

By Jon Lee

from chicago, Il

I got this for christmas when i first started playing guitar and it sounds amazing. The four different distortion settings give you a lot of flexibility for just about any genre. My only complaint is that mine seems very heavy on the bass on both channels, even with the bass knob set a 0.

Roland Cube XL15

By Jason Raimondo

from Tampa, Florida

This amp is small, durable, perfect for playing in an apartment. You can get a much better than average clean sound out of this amp in comparison to other small practice amps in this price range. The distortion presets ALL sound very digital. It sounds so hokey that I can use them even on songs where I really want to. Also on this dirty channel there is no way to really adjust the sounds, just a gain and volume knob which don't really do much. I really like that I can play in my apartment without complaints. I want to rate this amp higher based solely on the clean channel, but it should have a reverb, and the distortion sucks. Don't get me wrong the equivalent line 6 spider was no better, and its clean was awful. The peavey 100 dollar vyper was garbage, the front plate where the knobs are connected was hanging free at the bottom not even attached to the amp face, and the Fender Mustang 100 dollar amp sounded really terrible. So this may be the best amp in that price range. I did not plug into the Marshall MG10, but did plug into the Marshall MG15, I loved it, but it was 50 dollars more. This Roland Cube is a solid amp with a nice clean perfect for practice and apartments, but don't expect it to replace a quality amp.

Sounds great , but ...

By Brian Bancroft

from Matthews, NC

I bought this amp based on a teachers recommendation. While I plan to play Jazz, and not meta;, I shall prob. never use the dist0rtion effects though they sound funky enough for practice. It is a powerful amp for its size and I like being able to crank down the volume and still get great sound ( mark of a true good amp. My only hesitation is that the amp gives out a passive hum, audible at 3 feet, regardless of Volume control. I shall check at guitar center and see if this is common. Otherwise a very good amp and I would but again, if a vox pathfinder were not available.
