The portable Roland BA-330 Stereo PA System delivers high-performance sound that defies its modest size, whether operating with battery power or plugged in. The Roland PA's digital stereo amplifier drives four 6-1/2" stereo speakers and 2 tweeters, positioned for wide stereo projection. The BA-330 is an ideal, all-in-one portable PA for small music venues, worship events, conferences, seminars, business meetings, and much more.
Powered by AC power or 8 AA batteries, the all-in-one Roland digital PA system is suitable for use anywhere. The PA system's powerful high-quality stereo sound supports music for audiences of up to 80 people. No setup is required, just plug in and go. The Roland BA-330 has 3 high-quality effects built in: Reverb, Delay, and Wide. The effects can be turned on or off independently for each channel. In addition, Roland provides a master 2-band EQ and EQ control for each channel.
You can plug a wide range of instruments, microphones, and devices into the Roland BA-330 simultaneously. Two mono channels are provided for microphones or line-level instruments (XLR and 1/4" jacks), 2 stereo channels are available for stereo instruments (1/4" L/R jacks), and a stereo aux input channel is included for CD players and other devices (RCA and TRS jacks).
Cascade 2 Roland BA-330 units using the Stereo Link jack-giving you twice as many channels and the ability to position the 2 units on opposing sides of the stage. The stereo aux input has a dedicated volume-control knob for ultimate control of your sound.
If you've ever encountered embarrassing feedback onstage, and most of us have, you'll be pleased to know that the BA-330 is equipped with Roland's advanced anti-feedback technology. With a simple switch, the BA-330 automatically detects the howling point and eliminates feedback. A built-in tilt-back stand enables optimal monitoring angle, and Roland includes a speaker stand adaptor for mounting the BA-330 PA system on a standard speaker stand.

We opted for another system to do the wedding in the woods, this system lacked the bass - low end that the bride and groom were hoping for. I will be returning the unit.
I bought this to use at a wedding in the woods. We tested it out in the woods with a guitar and mic set up. It was really nice until we pushed the amp all the way to the max volume, then it got a bit "CRUNCHY" BUTT we didn't need it turned up all the way so it will work great for what we need. Did a test with it playing a iPod on medium volume and it played for 3 hours non stop on a fresh set of batteries (8 AA) and the battery level indicator still said it was fully charged! How Cool is that?? Effects are a bit cheesy but hey they are better than nothing, and you can apply them to one, all or none channels. Over all a great purchase, I hope they hold some value, after the wedding mine is going on ebay.
I really love this amp. It will help me get my songs out to the world. I will be a one person band for a while. I can plug in my mp3 player with the original music from my songs (without vocals). Then I can plug in the mic, get the right mix of vocal and sound then turn the master volume up and start the show. I can also plug in the guitar and a few other instruments and do everything live. I can probably go on an on about this amp. It's everything I've hoped for in an amp. It looks good and weighs 30 lbs. I would recommend a fold up carrier to wheel this around to the locations you will be playing. I also recommend having two sets of batteries on hand at all times. I didn't know there was such a thing as a battery powered amp this powerful!! If you want more power and sound, you can get another Roland amp and connect the two. I would recommend this amp to any musician looking to play their music live. You will be heard!
Just got the unit yesterday. I needed something that ran on batteries so I could "take it to the streets", so to speak. Out of the box, read a few pages in the book, put the batteries in, plug in the mic, guitar, and MP3 player for my backgrounds and I was off and running. The sound for it's size is great. For what I do it seems to so far be everything I could want. Now it's to the streets and we'll see how I make out. Will write again to let you know.
