Aggressively processed vocals are common in electronic music today, but producing these effects easily and reproducing them live continues to be a challenge. The VT-3 lets you smoothly alter Pitch and Formant and can introduce heavily processed vocal sounds into your studio tracks and live performances with zero hassle.

And it's not just for robot voices (although robot voices are totally acceptable). The VT-3 has the power to transform your voice into synthesizers, synth basses, hard-tuned and lo-fi vocals and more. The VT-3 can also be subtle and musical, with built-in reverb, smooth Wet/Dry fader control and instant bypass.

Built for creative speed and live performance, the VT-3 is meant to be played. It has high quality specs and sturdy, brightly-lit controls that are dead simple to use. The controls and functions are smooth and immediate with no popping or clicking or latency issues to worry about, even when switching presets or changing voice characters. Weighing less than two pounds and small enough to slip into a bag, you can take the VT-3 anywhere.

Comments about Roland AIRA VT-3 Voice Transformer:

It's just 'alight' nothing all that great as far as versatility is concerned. I thought it would have more sounds but it's pretty limited.

Comments about Roland AIRA VT-3 Voice Transformer:

If you're trying to amuse yourself, impress your friends, or astound your audience, this is a worthy box. I started off running a guitar through it on Vocoder mode, it's a thing of beauty, very reminiscent of a lot of Infected Mushroom's guitar synths. Tracking is a little slow, but that lets you glitch it out controllably once you get a feel for it, and that's its own joy. As an effect, it plays well with fuzz, delay and modulation. As an instrument, Bass mode is BRUTAL! It can yoi-yoi-yoi with the best of 'em and allows the user to make real-time improvisational bass drops with their mouths, minimal singing skill required. Lead is a spooky theremin, Synth is pure 80's cheese, Scatter instatnly turns "some dude beatboxing" into "glitch hop," though it's a little chaotic and unpredictable. Radio and Megaphone are lo-fi ambient glory, especially with the built-in reverb. This thing is a little bit noisy, a little bit weird, a little bit unpolished, but 100% magical. Highly recommend it to everyone.
