  • Excellent for the price

    This kit rocks. I have a older Roland 6 kit but I perfer this. The sounds kill the 6 and the quick recording and playback along with the mesh pads make the 4sx,the one to get for the price. I have two roland PM 10 monitors running stereo and I could not be happier. Thanks Roland!

  • Good Drumset, Just thought there'd be more to it....

    I bought this drum kit yesterday, and and was actuality going to get the lesser model (TD-4S), but they didn't have it in stock so i got this one. I'm happy with the set, but i figured for the price i would get more than 25 preset drum sounds with it. I really like the quick record, and playback feature & the "easy to understand" interface on the sound module as well. It's definitely nice to be able to play at all hours of the night, and the morning without disturbing anyone. I don't know, i just figured for the $$$ price difference between the lower model, and this one i would get more preset sounds. All in all i am happy with the set. Definitely recommend.

    initially bought an alesis kit but hits weren't registering consistently. returned it with no fuss, no hassles to the East Brunswick, NJ GC. had second thoughts about the price of the td4sx but it's well worth it. the feel, response and sounds from the brain are top notch, as expected from Roland. Props also to Eric of the Drums & Percussion Dept of Guitar Center East Brunswick NJ for the all the help and awesome customer service!
