NEW REVIEW - WOW

All you can say about this is WOW, when I slipped the headphones on for the first time I was astonished to find that an electronic drum set really can sound professional! The set had a bunch of different types of drum type selections! the Metal one really sounded awesome. Simply one of the TOP

Great Kit - Very Expensive

This is the most impressive kit of electronic drums I have ever come across. I sold my old acoustic set 8 years ago when I moved from NY to Florida. I have lived in apartments and condo's the last 8 years and could not purchase a new acoustic kit due to noise restictions. I vowed to one day own another drum set. I was working here one day in Los Angeles and came across a music trade show and saw Roland setting up The TD-20s. I asked if I could try. I fell in love at first beat. This kit is the the first high quality electronic kit I have come across. The pads are exactly like playing a real acoustic drum without the noise. The drums even have the realistis stik response and feel. The only drawback I can think of is the cymbals and price. They cymbals have a rubber coating and while they sound realistic, they don't feel realistic. Also the drums don't come with snare stand, hi-hat stand and kick petal so plan on spending another $500 on top of the original $5000. Other than that these things are awesome. I play and bang away like I have an acousitic set and I could play in the middle of the nightand no one would hear me with the head phones on. lus the added bonus of 100's of combonations of sets and you realize you have a top quality product.

Awsome Drums

My dad bought these drums for me two years ago and i immediatly fell in love with them. No one in the house complains when i play because no one can hear them. This is a perfect set for beginners or pros. It has built in drum patterns for beginners to listen to and practice, and also patterns with no drums that the player can be creative with and fill in. The only complaint is the expensive price, and my hi-hat sounds kind of wierd now because the trigger got messed up but ive learned to live with it. You can easily teach yourself to play on this set, and ive seen it used by professionals in concerts also. Any drummer will love this drum set, if you have the money it is a must buy, you will not be dissappointed. And one suggestion is to buy a noise cancelling pair of headphones to cut out the sound of hitting the pads.
