• Nice cymbal boom

  I had to by another boom for the new CY-8 that I bought. So I stuck with Roland, because they make great stuff ! It dose the job very well. plus it matches the rest of my V -Kit. I like the new Hatched mounting clamp. Its so much easier to take on and off. So if you to add an E-Cymbal to your V-Kit this would be a great choice.

  It may sound strange, but this item is one of the best things I've purchased to go with my electronic drum kit. I had previously purchased the Boss DB-90 metronome (which is the king of metronomes and a great product as well) but found myself not using it as much as I should, given that it was off to the side of my kit. The MDY-10U has allowed me to put the DB-90 right above and next to my drum controller, so it's right in my face, easy to use and thus I use it much more often. This, of course, is helping my playing. Especially useful for the coach function, where you need to be able to see the display as you play. So I'd recommend this product if you want to encourage yourself to use your compatible metronome as much as possible...it's great. Note that I am not using a Roland e-drum kit (yet!) but this mounts fine to other kits that have the same rack diameter.
