This is a great kickpad for any electronic drumset. I currently use it with my SD7K from SIMMONS and it's working out great. It has a great sturdy design so it doesn't move around when you kick it hard and its very responsive. I'm an intermediate player and it's never missed one of my hits. It's also pretty bouncy so it's easy to do double bass beats as well as single. It doesn't matter if your a begginer or expert, this kick pad will work out great for you and for it's price, you couldn't ask for a better deal, It's great.
This is one of the best electronic drum pedals I have ever played on. Some pro's are that it is very sturdy and does not move if set up right, it is very sensitive, it picks up fast, so if you are playing a single pedal very fast you will not have a problem. One other pro is the way it picks up volume, it regesters how hard you hit it very well. Some cons are that it can be too sensitive at times. I have found if you just tap the stand holding it is so sensitive that the trigger will be set off. This is not very good on stage if you are turned on an need to make a quick adjustment, the croud might hear it. Other than that I would recomend this product to any with an elctronic set or looking to buy one.
