Fantastic Job Roaland!!!!

I can't believe this unit! It does everything it says it does and more. The sound quality is great and the sequencer and audio recording is top notch! There is a learning curve here, but it is WELL worth it. Make sure to put in a 512 memory chip and get a 1 gig compact flash card and pc card adapter. When you have this all installed you can do pre-production midi tracks and export them to a software mixing program (as .wav files) like pro-tools and actually have useable tracks of MASTER QUALITY!! The sound sets are fabulous and more than you will use.. All the new cool whilry sounds and effects are included as well as some of the best sounding acoustic samples ever!! This is the one we have all been waiting for :)

What can you say about a workstation with 128 voice polyphony, Roland flagship sound engine, over 1000 presets, sampling, MIDI + Sample playback sequencing, simplified external storage and much more for under $1000. And to think that I purchased my Juno G on a whim, for less than $800 from Guitar Center new in the box. I've been playing for over 20 years, and this box has a lot of value packed inside for the working musician. It's light weight, easy to carry and works well for those one keyboard gigs. If the only made a weighted 88 key model.

Juno G 9.5 out of 10

Sonically has the punch of a Fantom. Easy to use. Great functional and useful features for it's price range. Screen large enough for the visually impaired. Recommend adding extra memory. Wish it had 2 SRX slots instead of one. All in all it is an impressive keyboard worth the price.

Geoffrey's review of the Juno-G

To me this keyboard is a great deal because you get everything you need and more from the great sounds to the recorder built in on the board. For a young musician this is everything he need to help get his type of music out so the world can hear it.

JUNO-G Rocks for the $

So I am finally upgrading from my old O1W/FD and let me just say that the Juno-G fills the bill. Using Compact Flash instead of floppy disk makes my life a lot easier and the ability to use audio tracks enable me to purge my O1W in to the new JUNO-G without losing all my previous work. The keyboard sounds fantastic, there is an "octave button" in easy reach to get the most out of the bass and piano samples and in general this thing rocks. The only down side so far has been that it is limited to WAV and AIFF files. It cannot import MP3's which would save a lot of disk space and enhance processor performance. However, given the price and the leap in technology from the O1W, this thing is smoking. I was told I picked up the first one in Dallas and I think I will be hanging onto this thing for a long time to come. Anyone want to buy a slightly-used O1W? :-) Michael C.
