  • DP 8 Vs DP 10

As reviewed by Chiyote on 12/24/2007

If you are playing with a rack, and are looking for a pedal that doesn't slip on hard surfaces, then you want the DP-10, which has an expendable slip mat and a longer cord. So as far as this equipment doing what it is supposed to, I give it a 5. If you are needing more... then get more. I'm glad Roland offeres products that suit a wide range of needs, even the pessimistic complainers that pretend to know what they are talking about, but obviously do not know a thing about what equipment is out on the market.

  • Sustaining

As reviewed by Mr. Muzik on 6/28/2007

this pedal is of the highest quality of which i have played. i have had no problems with it ever. Most of the venues i play at, other keyboardist have the exact same pedal. it sustains very well with any sound or board for that matter. although, it tends to slide on hard surfaces.

  • Not bad, but I've used better

As reviewed by MarkT on 8/3/2007

My biggest two complaints are: (1) It slides around on hard surfaces / on stage, and (2) the cord isn't long enough! How could Roland not realize if you have a rack, it barely reaches the top keyboard. VERY poor design forethought. BUT, I do like the feel of it, and it works fine.
