  • BEST AMP EVER

As reviewed by vishal aggarwal on 11/28/2009

this amp is one of the best amps i've plugged my guitar into. Its got so many distortion options and has a great clean setting. It also has an acoustic setting so u don't have to get that acoustic simulator pedal. If you're looking for a marshall....there is a setting on the amp that sounds just like one. It also gives sounds similar to Line 6, Vox, and man more! You won't regret buying this amp!

  • very good for the price

As reviewed by CL on 1/11/2010

This little amp does a lot for the price. It is a nice and portable substitute for a heavier tube amp. The modeling technology has improved a lot in recent years, and some of the tones on this thing are warmer than I expected. The Deluxe Combo, Classic Stack, and Metal models are pretty convincing. The reverbs and delays are very good, while the other effects are not the greatest but still useful. I tried one out at a friend's house and liked it right away. It has enough power for most club gigs, and the build quality appears very solid, I would not worry about this thing getting damaged. Tone is a somewhat subjective thing, but I have been able to coax some nice sounds out of this amp, at least to my ear. I would not compare it to a high-end tube amp, which I own (Mesa and Fender) but it is a lot cheaper to buy and easier to transport than my tube amps, and the tones are worthy of use in public. Try before you buy.

  • Volume from 0 to 60 in 1 level

As reviewed by Russ on 6/14/2010

great sounding amp for LOUD playing, Why the they have a power squeezer on the 30x, when really the 80x should have that. I would trade any setting on this amp beside my Metal tone for some type of volume attenuation. if you live more than a 100 yards from neighbors, buy it, it does sound good, but its not very practical.
