A beast in a box!

I just bought this amp after hearing good reviews about it, and they were right! If you're wanting to buy a small combo amp for your dorm or apartment but still want the amazing sound of the higher-end amps and stacks, this is perfect for you! This thing gets really loud without losing any clarity, so you don't get that fuzziness. You definitely can do small gigs with this amp since it's sound awesome but is very portable. And with all the effects, you can get just about any sound you're looking for. I sold my Digitech RP200 and Boss AC2 because I no longer need them. I am very happy about my purchasing decision and would recommend this amp to anyone.

Good Sounds, Good Buy

I rank the roland cube series way up there in what I like to call a "blank" amp. The Roland Cube 30x has just a completely lifeless clean sound. This sounds like a bad thing, but It's actually in my mind, great! I say this because the Roland Cube allows you to spice up this "boring" clean sound with its on-board distortion and effects models. Choose an AC Clean type sound and boom, you bring quality life to your amplifier. Want a Metal sound? Turn a nob and hear a bright sounding Heavy-Metal tone. Also, the cube contains quality on-board Tremelo/Flanger, Rever/Delay, and three EQ nobs. The Cube gives 30 powerful watts of sound, and has quality tweaking that can be done. The cube 30 is also a great buy for someone who loves to use a multi-effects pedal. The Cube 30 isn't a mistake, it's for any level of guitar playing and sounds good, and is simply a good buy.

Really Good

This is a really good amp. The bass quality lacks a little with the clean sound, but high and middle are amazing. You can customize the sound alot. The digitil fx are a really cool feature so you don't have to buy any fx pedals. Perfect for small gigs or just practing.

Quite a good amp

I got this amp to replace my peice of junk crate and i was very happy, it played ac/dc great. lots of diversity. the last little bit i have ventured into Led Zeppelin and anyone who wants a zep-tone this isnt your amp (not saying its a bad amp at all). The classic stack was too muddy at higher gain levels, metal was tooo bassish, rectifier was too distortiony, tweed was OK good for early led zep, but not that great, brit combo just doesnt cut it for me, i never used black panel neither the acoustic, clean channel is very good. i plugged in a ds-1 boss distortion and i got an awesome tone. This is a fantastic amp, but about your style first.

BANDCAMP 2006

Picked up a Cube 30 to replace my peavey stack that did not get used much. Awesome amp for minimal price. Very versatile even when used without any add'l gear or stomp boxes. Delay and flanger is very high quality for this price and also packs a hefty power punch with the overdrive channel. Getting a smaller Marshall to add to my collection, but only because I want one.The CUBE gives me everything I need at quite a bargain.
