The Roland Cube-30 Bass Combo 1X10 Amp is a compact, powerful, and lightweight amp that combines a 30W amp with a 10" speaker and DSP modeling to crank out a range of popular bass amp sounds. There's also onboard compression, 3-band EQ, and high-quality Roland digital effects including reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, and T-Wah.

roland quality
although, Ive only had this amp for several days now, possibly too soon to write a review, I am oh so pleased with it so far.
The effects work great and give sounds that eliminate the need for certain pedals.
Produces a full, quality sound even though it is only 30W.
Plenty of sound for rehearsals and even small gigs, assuming there is no obnoxiously loud drummer. however, anything bigger and I would look for more power.
I might mention the line out is monaural, and I was hoping this amp could be a little punchier, however that may be due to my passive bass, and I'll admit there seem to be endless sound combinations so maybe the punchy tone just hasnt yet crossed my path.
The COSM amp models sound authentic as possible and I rarely find myself playing without one selected.
for all those who wonder, cosm stands for Composite Object Sound Modeling I believe, and is unique to Roland equipment.
The compression feature I have yet to figure out.
over all, its hands down the best amp for its category (30W or less), although a bit pricy. if you're looking for a high quality small/practice amp this is it.

best bass amp
The Roland Cube-30 Bass Combo 1X10 Amp is a compact, powerful, and lightweight amp that combines a 30W amp with a 10" speaker and DSP modeling to crank out a range of popular bass amp sounds. There's also onboard compression, 3-band EQ, and high-quality Roland digital effects including reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, and T-Wah. It is 30W of power and is a very cool and good amp.
