What an Amp!
I have a Victoria Electric Guitar (old around 1960s but so cool). This is my first electric guitar amplifier.I must say it is really cool. It is DSP (digital sound processor?), it has a 8 inch speaker,it has its own tuner, (so you can tune your guitar without a separate tuner and whenever you need it) with a selector for each string and the speaker is bypassed, also there is a chromatic mode, it has 20 watts, 2 channels (JC Clean and Lead) with Lead having 6 different tones, a recording/headphone port that will silence the main speaker (accepts standard huge headphone plugs or ones that are for stereos), an aux port for playing an mp3, cd, etc player (accepts standard portable Walkman style plugs), bass, middle, treble knobs, 4 different effects and delay/reverb, foot switch port, power squeezer function allowing you to experience a fully turned up volume amp sound, but volume is low. It has a great acoustic simulator. Lastly there is COSM, Composite Object Sound Modeling which is supposed to take the original sound of your electric guitar and produce a digital sound that is the same. Finally, overall the amp is super loud and has cool features and is at a fair price I think. By the way I suggest you go to the site below to hear what the amp is truly capable of and click on video.

Amazing Amplifier!!!
I have read around on many many sites and this one seems to be a hot item. Definetly worth the price and it has so many things jam packing in to a little cube. Has jsut what you need, metal, distortion, acoustic, delay, reverb, gain, bass, treble, middle, effects, footswitch input, overdrive, metal stack, and a BUILT IN TUNER!!! Just cant get anything better for such a price!!!!!

Very nice amp with effects
For the price the Roland Cube 20X is a very good thing, especially for beginners/hobbyists. Having fx built in makes it a good first step into the world of tonal alteration. Yes the fx sound digital but i think they're ok overall and you get 4+2 fx as well as dist/od. This amp smoothly gets too loud to play in my apartment with no break-up or chuff, although when I plugged my bass into it it rolled off a lot and you could feel the air moving all weird - Well, it is a guitar amp after all! For $160 would I recommend a cheaper amp and some cheap pedals instead? No, I figure the quality won't be any BETTER and then you have a mess of stuff instead of a nice single unit (though you'll need a Foot Switch (BOSS FS-5U, FS-6) to switch hands-free). Plus Roland seems to have a good track record with the Cube series.

Yay
I got the amp yesterday and it blew me away! Tons of effects and features and it sure can blare. The power squeezer and built in tuner are very helpful too. To me it was a little bigger than I thought but I don't know much about size when it comes to amps. Buy this amp! You will love it!!
