NEW REVIEW - Awesome for the $$$
After playing drums for 17 years and learning bass by listening to Primus records, I decided I wanted to learn how to play Soulfly songs, so I bought a 7 string guitar.
I bought a decent ax, and needed a small and cheap amp just for my practice space, knowing I would probably never gig out. This amp sounds fanstastic and the distortion settings sound fantastic. I was very surprised at the volume and tone coming out of the little 8" speaker. I read a lot of reviews on other brands of similar products, and didn't seem to find a lot of good feedback. This particular product gets great reviews, and now I know why. It also sounds fantastic recorded with my Pro Tools rig, so if you're looking for an awesome practice amp, that also sounds great for some quiet session work, get this puppy, worth every penny! Roland is a highly respected company and they make great, quality stuff, so if you're on a budget, grab this little bastard up! Peace...

Great beginner amp,
I own the Roland Cube-15, this amps predessesor. Its the same thing without the Power Squeezer feature. It was my first amp and I've had it for about three years, and I've had absolutely no probelems with it. If you're just starting out, this amp is a great value. The effects are decent, though I don't use them very often because I have pedals. Its very easy to use, and it requires no knowledge of amps to use it. If you're starting with your first electric, don't buy one of those "Player Packs", the amps that come with them aren't that great. Do yourself a favor, and buy an amp like this and a guitar by itself.

WOW!
Are you looking for an amplifier that is cheap but well made? The Roland Cube 15x is the amp for you. It has clean as well as lead channels. The Lead sounds include Overdrive, Distortion, Metal, and Metal Stack. It also has a power squeezer that delivers an amazing punchy and well-balanced sound and maximum sustain without maximum volume. Another great feature is the mini-jack aux input which allows you to play along with a cd or mp3 player. All of this is only $99.99 which is an amazing price for what you are getting.

GREAT FOR ITS SIZE
I have had this amp for over a year. And not a single problem. Its one of the best practice 15W amps you can really get. I have band practice with it and you can easily hear it over the drums and Bass. I love it.

Rockin' Roland
This is the absolute best combo amp for under 100 dollers. It is the best for practice and astonishingly loud. I can play with the drums banging at only 4-5. There could be some more features, at least like the effects on the micro-cube but the price it really what hooked me in. Overall, I would recomend this amp to any active musician who needs a solid practice amp.

Great deal!
This amp is just what I was looking for. It's cheap, has 5 effects (1 clean, 4 lead), equalizers, an aux. input, phone jack, and even a power squeezer for a great muted tone. The best part is the clean tone, it is phenomenal! Its lead tones aren't that great, but that's why there are effects pedals. Keep Rockin' Roland!

Great Amp!
This is my second amp. My firs one was a crappy starter amp. The Roland 15x absolutely blew my first one away. It has awesome features for its price range. I love the the five sounds you can choose from; clean, overdrive, distortion, metal, and metal stack. I love the metal stack; you can get a good punk crunch distortion. There isn't much buzz/interference in the sound. This amp makes my starter pack guitar sound awesome. I totally recommend this amp as a starter/practice amp.
Overall, totally awesome sound and so worth the money.

Its Amazing
I've had a this amp for about 2 and a half years, and its great. it has great sound and the sound is easy to get. it's also pretty loud for a 15 watt amp. It has a lot of different distortion and a great clean tone. If you want a great amp that doesn't cost much for an amp, then this is the one to buy.

decent amp
my first amp, so i am not an expert in amps, but regardless, this is an amazing amp. the clean channel has a nice tone, but the real fun starts with the built in effects. anyway...good amp for the price, would recommend for a practice amp, beginner amp, etc.

Good, Loud, Clear practice amp-WORTH THE PRICE
I got this amplifier recently, as a practice amp, and its what I expected. It is definetly loud enough to use for band practice etc and can easily be heard over someone banging on the drums, or the other guitars/bass guitar.
I use a Fender American Stratocaster and the clean channel is amazingly clear. Playing around with the EQ can also make your electric sound very similar to the acoustic. You can make a very soft sound by turning the bass up and Treb/Middle up, but you can also create a very sharp sound by doing the opposite, turining the bass down and treb/Middle up.
The amp has 4 effects including Metal, Metal Stack, Distortion, and overdrive, which are all pretty good and I can get the sound i want for most songs I play. However, it doesnt have Chorus, Flanger, etc.
Overall a great amp with a variety of sound that it can produce, also great price. Its worth it.
If your thinking of getting this amp for a beginner, its also great for that. This will allow them to start off simple, and then progress to different sounds and explore the world of guitar.
Great Amp. 5 Stars.
