  • Great E-Cymbals

As reviewed by sub 7 on 10/9/2006

The Roland CY- 8 V-Cymbal Dual-Trigger is a light weight durable high impact plastic I like the fact that it comes with the special mount that fits over the regular cymbal mount to give the CY-8 a natural swing feel.I love the fact the trigger responds very well even for a heavy hitter like myself ! All and all the CY-8 is a great product. I'm going to pick up 4 more for my V-kit, I can't wait !

  • Best In its Price Range

As reviewed by Kruegmeister on 6/29/2007

For my Ride I bought a Roland CY-12R which is better than these, but not much. The CY-12r has 3 triggers so you can play the Bell which is more like a ride, but that cymbal is about double the price of these. These Cymbals are excellent for Crash Cymbals. Dual Zones work Great. I set my Bow for Pinging Ride type sounds and the Edges for Crash Sounds. They have Never False Triggered between Bow and Edge for me. The Choke works pretty good. Assuming your Brain Module supports that. It took some practice to get the choke down but it is quite repeatable. For the Price I don't think you can beat these cymbals.

  • Amazing

As reviewed by JimmyJones16 on 2/22/2007

This is the best cymbal I have ever played. Two zone trigger pads means that it has two sounds depending on where you hit it. It is great for live when you don't have the money.
