I bought this ukelele without knowing anything about it besides it was less than $30. I got into nevershoutnever and they used a ukelele. So i bought it and figured if i can't take my guitar i'll just take my ukelele, since it is smaller and lighter. At first it was a pain because the strings would move the tuning pegs. I thought they simply needed to stretch a little bit more and I tuned them a step higher, pulled on the strings, and left it for 2 days stretching. That didn't work out so I tightened the tuning pegs as much as I could. That fixed the intonation problem perfectly. It sounds awesome. I love my ukelele and take it pretty much everywhere now. It is definitely worth it, just tighten the tuning pegs and it's good to go.

My dad plays guitar so I know how to tune a string instrument, but when I got this it would not hold a tune for a split second. I took it back into the nearest Guitar Center and the guy there said that it was awful and it would cost just as much to get it fixed well enough to play as the instrument costs itself. Definitely not a good starter uke if you want to seriously learn how to play, seems more like a good kids toy. I ended up buying a Luna Uke for $100 instead but it was worth it because I want to seriously play.

I love my ukulele but there's some issues

Comments about Rogue Hawaiian Soprano Ukulele:

My g peg is stripped and won't even hold the string, it's been like this since I bought it and I'm not sure how to fix it other than buy a new peg but considering I had bought a new uke I had hoped it would have worked at the very least.

      Doesn't hold tune

Comments about Rogue Hawaiian Soprano Ukulele:

Poor quality tuning pegs, does not hold tuning even after the guys at the store stretched the strings, tightened the pegs, and attempted to fix it for me. Ended up trading in for higher quality model.

      Love it!

This ukulele is great! The sound is definitely quality for the price. I alsp love the look of the wood. Everyone is right though when they say that the tuning pegs are loose, but it really is an easy fix. The strings that come with it are not good strings and I plan on buying new ones, but that's what can be expected when buying something like this online. Overall I do recommend this ukulele, especially for any beginner that wants to learn just for fun.

Comments about Rogue Hawaiian Soprano Ukulele:

I haven't even been able to play it yet, because 2 out of 4 strings popped off while I was trying to tune it. I play guitar and know how to tune. I even second guessed myself and watched a YouTube video to make sure I wasn't doing it wrong. But no matter how I tuned it the strings kept popping.

Doesn't work. The plastic tuner wouldn't lock and unwinds on its own. This is just a child's toy and not made to play music.

      In Love

Comments about Rogue Hawaiian Soprano Ukulele:

I bought this ukulele for my birthday since I've heard a lot of other people playing it and decided it would be fun to try a new instrument! I was reading through the reviews and they vary quite a bit so I decided to put out my thoughts on it. would just like to say that I'm a beginner and I've never touched a ukulele before, but this one feels just right. It gets out of tune-like every other single string instrument, no big deal- but overall, its small and fun and it gets out the basic sound you want. If youre looking for a cheap, beginner ukulele, this one is perfect! I've also travelled with it and it's become one of my favorite instruments i own.

      Great for the money

      By Zachary Hoefer

Comments about Rogue Hawaiian Soprano Ukulele:

This is a nice ukelele for the money. This is the first uke i've bought so i might not be the best judge but the wood looks nice and sounds fine. the only issue i can think of is that the tuning pegs were a bit loose but that was easy to fix with a phillips screwdriver. The strings took a bit to stretch out but they hold their tune well enough now.
