Gauge .100, Nickel Round Wound-Electric Bass
These are the same bass strings Rogue uses in prepackaged retail sets. What's the difference? We package 3 strings of the same gauge in airtight vinyl bags with a package of silica gel to protect against unwanted moisture so they last longer than typical string sets. We also pack these bulk strings in big, loose coils to avoid compressing or stretching the windings, so they sound better than tightly coiled strings. Rogue Strings are made exclusively for us by a famous manufacturer, employing the finest materials and latest manufacturing methods.

Comments about Rogue Bulk .100 Nickel Roundwound Bass Strings:
I had a couple new sets of bass strings around here that over the years I had broken the "E" while installing them. I always start with the "E" and I had a bass that just loved to bite one off once in a while.. I later discovered a burr that if I put the string in the groove in one direction.. It would break it off.. I wasn't about to toss out three brand new strings in each set.. so when I saw these it was like buying two sets. I did get out the machinist file and de-burr the tuner. I even have an extra "e" just in case It happens again. They are nice quality strings and I like that they are not rolled up.. I believe that rolling tends to make them go out of tune for a while.. Instead they have kept tune from day one.
