The Rogue VB-100 violin bass guitar features a flamed maple arched top and back with the European-style hollowbody that makes it lightweight and capable of deep, resonant bass tones. The violin bass's traditional 31" scale offers immediate familiarity in your hands. A custom trapeze tailpiece, pearloid pickguard, and body binding on front and back are added touches. Don't be fooled by the tiny price; this Rogue a serious violin bass nicely made with all the playability and tone of the original at a fraction of the cost.

  • Beautiful

    This Bass is Beautiful and shares the styling of the Hoffner but with the Epiphone Tailpiece. Just Bought this Bass two weeks ago. Light Weight although, I can see why Sir Paul tied his strap to the head of his Hoffner I may get a different strap to do that instead of using the front strap peg.

  • Hofner/Beatle stying only a beautiful extra...

    I have had my Rogue bass for +/-3 years. After a standard tightening/ adjusting session, I played a gig with this honey right out-of-the-box. I spent the whole night in wonder of the light weight, style, and just plain ole' kick-butt bass sounds I plucked out of this baby.(no pun intended). The original reason I purchased the VB100 is that I was out of town with a Fender Jazz Bass that didn't stand the trip, and a Hofner that didn't make the trip. I went to the "local" music store, and there she was! I just tried her out of curiosity. This bass was light weight, looked great, and played/sounded wonderful. Only a few hundred dollars later I walked out with the bass, a case, some flatwound strings, and a few new cables. The rest is history. I added the strings, added a few touches, and went to work. I have played this baby ever since with no problems. My thanks for allowing me to let other players know this success story with a great little bass.

    I have had mine for about a year. I love it. opps - developed a short in the tone switches. i will need to get it fixed or buy a new one. too bad, i really liked the feel and tone of this bass.
