  • Poncha Bullet Rocks!!

As reviewed by Lapman on 5/30/2007

I never thought a non metal tone bar would deliver the goods like this one has! I've been playing both lap and steel for over 20 years, and thought the only option was a heavy slab of steel? I'm her to let everyone know, I was Wrong!!! The Poncha bullet is a joy to play with, I'm doing things with this slide that I only dreamed of! Although, it shines better with my steel, I do love the play-ability and the tones and sustain with my Fender Lap. It's a little longer than I'm used to for lap, but at just over one pound, as opposed to 5 or 6 pounds with the steels, it delivers all tyhe volume and sustain I'd ever want...and it has a nice warmth, that just isn't there with steel on steel, if you knoe what I mean? Kudos RMS, for making these very unique slides!!
