This shorty slide was created for Bill Morganfield who usually uses a knuckle slide. Great in standard tuning, it offers more string coverage than a traditional knuckle slide that only covers one or two strings. With the Salidan, you can cover up to four strings.
Light and responsive, the Salidan (Sal-Eye-Den) was designed to "float" on the finger, for quick pickup and quick release. This is the warmest of the Rocky Mountain Slide Company slides and is often referred to as having tones similar to Fire Cracker Aluminum. This slide has the growl when you want it, or a whisper like a cool breeze that'll make you cry.
