  • a great power amp for the money

As reviewed by Chiggs on 10/16/2009

This a great price on a power amp where usual power amps are close to or over a thousand dollars. I use this with a line 6 pod pro and it sounds amazing. I play metal and I get plenty of crunch. Don't need to push it past 9oclock to be heard and that's with a jcm900 marshall cab. My setup would probably sound better if it was a tube power amp, but like most musicians I'm poor and its a great amp. Would recommend to others and have.

  • Rocktron Velocity 100 Power Amp

As reviewed by John Yates on 2/25/2009

So far this amp does what it said it would doand mounts into my vintage Anvil case and rack system perfectly. Unfortunately, with a single 4x12 cabinet I can only run one side and there is no way to merge the two channels to get more wattage out of my cabinet. I'm going to see about dividing my cabinet into a left side and right side and run each channel through them. I wont get much separation this way but will get more wattage for added crunch and wail...and that's what it's all about!

  • Simple and just what I needed

As reviewed by ImaginaryHuman072889 on 1/6/2010

If you have a multi-effects processor and want to make it your main (and only) source of effects, this is what you need. It's solid state, not tube, but tube power amps are several times more expensive. The sound is very clear, I am very satisfied. 2 channels, 2 outputs for each channel. The 2 outputs for each channel are connected in parallel. As far as loudness goes it's pretty much loud enough for anything except a live show. Maybe if you hook up enough cabs it could get loud enough but I only use a 1x12 cab that I made myself. This is a great power amp considering its about 5 times cheaper than other ones. Buy now.
