Nice delay for a great price.

This is a nice classic sounding delay pedal. You can really do a lot with it. I thought this Rocktron pedal was more user friendly than the Line 6 and Boss delays. It doesn't have as many knobs, (or features which is why I gave it a 4) but with proper tweaking you can get a lot of sounds. I was able to get Pink Floyd, Rush (2112) and surf guitar sounds out of it. And even the end of Yngwie's intro solo to "Hot on your Heels" when it speeds up. I gave it a 4.5 for quality because I also noticed it making an echo when clicked on. Also if you turn the time knob all the way to minimum it makes a quiet buzzing sound, but not very noticeable, just back it off a little and it's gone. Other than that it seems to be good quality. It is a little bit bigger in size than some other brands, but not in price. You can get this for half the price of other delays. And don't let the name (Short Timer) fool you. You can get some really long drawn out delays with this pedal.

Rocktron Short Timer

This pedal is great, especially for the price. It has a great range of what you can do to edit the delay. Even though it says short delays, with proper tweaking you can also create long delays. This stompbox is very durable and will hold up well under tough conditions. My only problem is that occaisionaly when you turn the pedal on, there is an echoed noise from hitting the button. This usually only happens the first time. THis is an excelent pedal and sounds great any way you play it.
