Push distortion to its outer limits.

Specially designed for players who want grungy, punchy, ultrahigh gain with endless sustain. A scoop control lets you cut mids up to 30dB, and the Rampage is designed to give you 75dB of raging gain with amazingly little noise. Crank the sustain and feel your instrument take on a life of its own. It's the wildest, screamin'est, most outrageous distortion pedal on the planet.

Rocktron Rampage Distortion Pedal Features:

  • Designed to give you 75dB of raging gain
  • A scoop control lets you cut mids up to 30dB
  • Amazingly little noise

Not bad, but you might want to spend a little more

Picked up one of these on Ebay for $25. It is a decent distortion pedal for the price. The sustain is nice if you want that screaming tone, but the DOD Death Metal (despite the name) delivers a little more distortion bang for the buck and a lot more sustain (in fact an insane amount of sustain). The Rampage has a solid aluminum casing, which is nice, as well as having some size to it which helps if you have big feet. In the price range it's a good deal, but you might do better with a Marshall Gov'ner if you are looking for a thicker distortion. The level control was also a disappointment since it controlled overall level, not the level of distortion.
