Rocktron's HEX Expression Volume Pedal is a multi-function pedal that can be used both as a volume pedal and as an expression pedal with a large variety of processors and MIDI controllable equipment. The design of the pedal allows you to use a simple stereo-to-stereo cable for expression connection, minimizing cable use on stage.

Thing is built like a tank, works well and is reliable. It's also metal... as well METAL. Not cheap plastic here. adjustable tension with the wrench included!(How awesome is that?) Use as a volume or an expression pedal. Spend the extra money over the cheaper Rocktron Utopia and avoid the Line 6 version. Both are cheaper plastic and just felt like they were waiting to fail. A minor complaint but documented well by Rocktron - It's wired RTS for the expression port. This will usually not matter if you're just using one. If you're using two you must rewire one end of both of your cables by reversing the Ring and Tip connections. It takes longer to heat up the iron than to do the work, it's well documented, so no star deducted
