I own two of these. They are very space efficient compared to individual stands. They are easy to put together even for a klutz like me. They protect the guitars well and fold up flat for easy transport. Although they are not advertised as such, the spaces are wide enough to accomodate many acoustic guitars as well as electrics and/or basses.

This thing is rickety, the screws strip out while trying to assemble it, and it leans to the side due to the weight of the guitars on it. Not a good purchase at all... good thing I bought it for my practice space and NOT to take to shows. Check out an alternative stand if you are looking for something that will last longer than one gig.

Heavy-Duty Guitar Stand!

By Rocker911

from Chandler, Az

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

The Rockstand is the best stand for any type of gig. It can hold up to five guitars at once. When i first bought it i wasn't sure if it was strong enough for my 3 acoustic guitars and my electric and bass. I went home and tested it out. It was good but i thought it would get all wobbly in a few months or so. I was totally wrong! i've had a year with it and yet it holds like new.

RockStand is Great for Shows

By avrocker1

from Apple Valley, MN

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

When I would be playing gigs I would always have to bring three of my bulky guitar stands with me, and it became a pain in the neck, very quickly. My friend then loaned me his RockStand, and I was hooked. The bottom folds up for easy storage and hauling, and it holds up to five guitars. I soon went out and bought one myself, and it not only saves space and energy, but it is also cool for displaying your guitars.

Great for the stage

By MadMan

from Sacramento, CA

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

I have been using this stand ( I have 3) for just about as long as I have been playing live. I usualy keep one loaded with the basses that i plan to use at the show (the bands songs change tunings often). I also have found them useful in the studio for keeping all my basses in one place.

Durable, simple and effective. Great overall.

By KELLEN WILSON

from Kent, WA

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

I ordered this from Guitar Center and love it. Currently I am storing two electric guitars and a bass guitar on it and am motivated to eventually fill it. The stand is very durable and effective. It is portable but I keep it in my room to store my guitars on. I put it together within 15 minutes and did not have any alignment problems or anything that I had read about. The idea is very simple but but the stand works great! I would recommend it!

Best for Electric guitars.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

Great except for the fact that the spacing is a little close. If you put acoustic guitars in it it gets a little crowded. Like it enough to buy 2 anyway!

I woud buy this again.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

A "good enough" product. Still ... for these prices you'd think it would come assembled. It's made in China, labor's cheap. I've never been able to assemble one of these things without its being lopsided.
And really, let's make a stand for acoustics--a 5-guitar stand means a 3 acoustic guitar stand.

Good padding

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

Lots of padding on the upper and lower supports. Fits 5 guitars with about 2 or 3 inches between them, which works well at home. Plenty sturdy as long as you're not moving it around from gig to gig.

Great design

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

I read the negative reviews of the stand and decided to buy it anyway, with the assumption that if it was really that bad I could either return it or make the necessary modifications to it as I have good mechanical skills. The main complaint seems to be that the cross bars at the bottom that the guitars rest on are now attached with sheet metal screws rather than screws that go all the way through with nuts to secure them. When I assembled it I had no problem getting the sheet metal screws tight enough without stripping them. The key is to assemble the entire item with the screws loose, then go around three or four times and tighten them up till they are all tight, being careful not to over tighten. The unit now has five solid body electrics including a heavy Les Paul, and is plenty solid and looks great! I would not try and pick it up with the guitars on it, but that's not what it's for anyway. If strength ever became an issue, it would be easy to drill out the cross bars and install through screws and nuts. I'm giving 5 stars as it is easy to assemble (even comes with the tools required!), is simple in design and does exactly what it was designed to do and looks great doing it. I plan on buying a 3 guitar stand soon to put in another area.....

Decent stand at a decent price!

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

So far so good, decent price for this quality of stand. Assembly was fairly easy, it felt like the metal screws wouldn't fit but if you use a little elbow grease, they will succumb. Longevity remains to be seen!

  • Portable
  • Stable

Cons

  • Not Safe for All Finishes

Best Uses

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

Don't use this stand if you have a nitrocellulose finish on your guitar. It has permanently stained my $1,500 Fender Strat. I'm very upset that I didn't use a towel under the guitar because the marketing copy (on another web site) told me this stand was safe for all finishes. It's NOT. Otherwise, I like the stand.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 5-Guitar Folding Stand:

Holds five electric solid body guitars or three acoustic guitars, or a combo of two acoustics and one electric. or a combo of two or three electrics with an acoustic. Finger tighten only during assembly and you got a great stand for the room or the show.
