Rock Bass? Noooo. . .

By Dorian

from Toronto, ON

Briefly, and without professional jargin: PROS -The action is nice -The body and neck are solid. When I first bought this bass, I was automatically a better player because of the low action. You can play so much faster. Gigging with this bass put a lot of paint chips in it but I've had no real problems, save the output jack. No warping, no bruises, the sound remains the same. Unfortunately. . . CONS -The SOUND. No bass, no treble. . . -It's also heavy It's got a noodley, almost nasal kind of funk sound- but without any real bottom end. If you like the 'Low-Mid' dial, maybe it's for you. Just be sure to try it out first- if you like the sound, then by all means buy it. And buy a nice strap while you're at it. The sound is just, say, uncommon.
