Load-ins and load-outs are undoubtedly the worst part of the gig. Either you're sweating before you play or dreading the number of trips you'll have to make after the gig through long corridors, cellars, and staircases, or the length of several football fields. The R12 now features G-Force wheels — high-tech polymer hubs, pneumatic tires with tubes, and roller bearings. They are 40% lighter than the old steel hubs and come in hot colors. It rolls on 10" x 2" rear wheels and 8" x 2-1/2" front pneumatic swivel casters (w/o brakes). Weighing 36 lbs., the R12 carries huge loads but folds small to fit in the trunk of a compact car.

NEW REVIEW - A must buy, trust me

I have to say that this cart is amazing! I should have bought it years ago. I gig out 4 to 6 nights a week. Over the past 2 weeks I've had the cart, I have not had any back issues, and my entire drum kit fits in 1 trip. Less set up time. I'm glad I bought the All-Terrain. The 4 big wheels make a huge difference in navigating thru parking lots and over bumps. If you are thinking about any piece of gear to purchase, this is a must. Trust me, just do it.

R12 All-Terrain Cart

The product description does not do it justice. This hand truck/cart exceeded my expectations. Used it the first day it was delivered and what a back saver. Not only saving the back muscles, it reduces the number of trips taken from vehicle to set-up and vice-versa. The pneumatic tires make it a breeze to roll across my front lawn around to my basement door. If you are looking for a way to save your back and time, you don’t need to look any further. The cart easily expands from 34” to 52” with a quick turn of a two wing nuts. I cut a small section of plywood to lie on the rack for my smaller drum kit and sound system items.

Great cart!!!

After researching for a cheap alternative to a Magliner type cart, I found this and ordered it. So far, it's everything I wanted and really works great. I went with the R12 since it has the 4 inflatable tires and I wanted the quietest/most versatile ride. I have used it for location audio work (large/heavy pelican cases and sometimes large fields/rough terrain) as well as some Catering work that I do (can be long walks with a fully loaded cart). It takes up very little space when folded up, and holds as much as you want when expanded (can expand it to what ever size is most convenient as well as add as many hooks/shelves/bags to fit other stuff on as you want). The only complaint(s) I've had so far are that the tires have no brakes so it likes to roll down hills(and with a lot of searching, there seems to be no aftermarket setup or extra tires with brakes that will fit anywhere out there), the shelves and OEM accessories are very hard to get a hold of!, and the paint chips/scrapes off very easy when used!

Tire slashed -cannot find replacement

This could be an ok cart, but before we even used it once, one of the rear tires was messed up. We didn't realize it at first, we just thought it was a junky, extremely over-priced dolly. Once we took the wheel off and got the tube out of the tire, which was next to impossible, there was a 1/4" long gash/tear right next to the stem! No patch has been able to stay put, and fix-a-flat doesn't work on tears. I have not been able to find a replacement tire yet, but that's why I am here...looking...

Back saver

The guys in the band dig this thing. It has made a big difference in getting our gear from the trailer to the stage. Air filled tires take some of the shock out of the ride when going over bumps. So its not just for 'off-roading' - it does provide a level of protection to your gear. Its light enough, yet strong. We pile speakers, mixers, amps on it and go - then folds up.
