    I just started playing guitar about 1 month ago and this dvd is great for people that want to learn to play metal and aren't really interested in traditional chords. This dvd is great because it has you playing metal riffs that are basic and easy to learn. It is very interactive, gives you a good foundation and also touches on some of the more advanced concepts. Explanation is easy to understand. The book doesn't teach you much. It is small but is used as a quick reference for the riffs and chords learned in the dvd.
