This Road Runner molded bass case is designed to fit a variety of electric bass guitars of various shapes. It has a non-scratch, thicker pile, plush-lined interior and padded neck brace with 2 accessory compartments-one covered and one open. For extra protection, the molded exterior is extremely roadworthy. The hardshell bass case also has a tongue-and-groove valance, rubber feet, 3 riveted latches-the middle one has a lock & key mechanism-and an offset handle for easier transportation.
The soft, plush interior protects your bass from scratches and nicks, plus Road Runner uses a special, eco-friendly, dye-free material, which eliminates the release of polluting bi-products into the environment.

I hav looked at every case out there, this one fits my MP Jazz V like a glove, its a tough bass to find a case for because of the extra long tuners, this one works. I wouldn't say the case is indestructible but its good enough and the inside wont harm the finish as its very plush similar to fine fur. I highly recommend this case for your MP Jazz V.
The price, materials and build quality of this case are very good. My Ibanez SR505 bass has room to swim inside. The body width is a couple of inches narrower and an inch or so shorter. I have inserted a foam cutout shape of my bass to keep it from moving. The angle of the head stock places it in contact with the case and puts pressure on the 3rd machine head, knocking it out of tune. So I have compressed the area of the case under the tuner to avoid contact. Now that the bass doesn?t move I?ve removed the Velcro neck strap that is always in the way. Bottom line,it's worth it. I?ll definitely get another one.
This is the fourth Roadrunner case I've purchased. got it just last night for my Precision Special bass, which is a Precision body with a Jazz bass neck. Snug as a bug in a rug, and the velcro strap helps to keep it in place. Plenty of room for a strap, cable, extra strings and a few other things. Roadrunner, although built overseas, have provided a good value for money, and have proven (to me, anyway) that they stand the test of time.
this case is nice for my 6-string bass, but my 4-string slides around. It holds up fairly well, even through the top is a little warped.
