The Road Runner RRMADNGL Graphite Looking Dreadought Case is made of a hardened, molded shell that looks as hard as a rock and is ready to protect your guitar from danger when you're on the road. The plush-lined interior is designed to cradle standard dreadnought guitars without leaving a scratch. This graphite looking case also features extra-sturdy tab-lock latches that are made to take abuse.

I've owned this case for about a year. It looks great and really holds the guitar (a dreadnaught) in place with a nice grey velour interior and neck strap. What really impresses me though, here in the SW desert, is that the case is airtight and sturdy. One small hydro insert in the sound hole and the humidity stays just right for long periods. I've lost guitars to cracking because I've lived and traveled in extreme areas like the arid desert and very humid Pacific NW. This is the best case for me.
I ordered this case for my son because a competitor could not get it before Christmas. Got a better price and delivered before Christmas as promised. Case is very well made and looks great. Previous case started to come apart and this one is so well made it will last for years to come. Bought son an expensive guitar previously and feel it will be very well protected now. Most importantly, he travels a lot with his music and he feels confident it will hold up extremely well. One less thing to worry about!
My big question when looking at this case on line was: Will it fit my guitar? I was buying this for a Yamaha FG700 series guitar. I ordered the case and when it arrived I found that it fit the Yamaha FG700 perfectly! I really like the velco hold down strap for the neck of the guitar. The grey plush lining protects the guitar from scratches and the case has a nice size compartment for extra picks, strings, tuners and straps. I was concerned that the metal surround might scratch up the guitar when putting the guitar in and out of the case, but turns out this was not an issue. The latches all line up well and work properly. Everybody who see's the case comments on how sharp it looks. The carbon fiber look is a light grey color and is very pleasing to the eye. The photos on line really don't do it justice. It has metal feet so it can be stood upright, on its side and moulded in feet so it can lay on its back. The carrying handle is very well made. The case was shipped in a sturdy cardboard box and the case was wrapped in heavy plastic. The case arrived in prestine condition. I feel this was a very good case for the money, and when I need another case, I will buy another of this type. Guitar Center was very good to work with, very enjoyable buying experience. Nice people, very professional.
I was in my local GC the other day, looking for a case for my Epiphone Masterbilt AJ500R. I have been trying, buying cases now for a while, and could never find one to actually fit the Masterbilt, except for the Epiphone cases, which I did not want.I wanted a good hard shell case. I was looking around in GC, and saw 2 cases on the floor, which looked different. The gray graphite look really caught my eye. I bought one to take home and try to see if the AJ500 would fit. To my surprize, it fit perfecty. Case closed, sorry for the pun. I have found my case now. I like it so much I ditched the Wolfpak I had my AJ500R in, and bought the other one they had in stock. Great case, looks different, good protection.
