I cut a piece of birch plywood to size, tacked some Velcro strips to it and to the pedals. I secured a couple of 9VDC power supplies plugged into a 3 ft extension cord with zip ties (drill holes in wood). All the pedals are as secure on the wood as velcro gets, connected to each other and daisy-chained to the 2 power supplies. This "board" now lives in the bag. I use the front pocket to transport my extension chord and guitar cables. When I go rehearse, I fold the bag top under the bottom with the hinged side facing me, so there's no part of the bag obstructing my access, plug my guitar in, plug the out-cable into my amp, and plug in the electric cord. Done. The bag is a just a great thing to transport and protect my pedals, keeps them from flying off the velcro or having the knobs messed with during transport. The size is great for 5 or 6 pedals. I wouldn't attach pedals directly to the bag, too flimsy IMHO. I can use my "board" without the bag while playing but prefer the extra protection from clumsy feet.. I have good contact with my pedals using the board bag. The shape is perfect for the pedals, though the zipper has 2 "corners" (to completely expose one side for pedal access) so I am careful about zipping around those bends. The shoulder strap is a nice touch. Super light too.

Like some others on here, I've had issues with the zippers detaching. I had the board for about 2 years, which isn't terrible, but the first zipper broke within the first year. The other one just came off a few days back. For the price, it's the biggest bag you'll find, however, for the price you pay, you'd expect the zippers to function. Whatever. Buy at your own risk.

Another top of the line case from roadrunner!

Comments about Road Runner Pedal Board All-In-1 Gig Bag:

this thing rocks. i have had this sence july 31st and have played quite a few shows with it and it lives up to the roadrunner reputation. i find that i can fit 7 pedals inside it and the best part is it wont screw with the knobs like some other pedal bags will. after almost 2 months of use on the road i give it a 10/10 if you buy this pedal bag it wont let you down.

Durable

Comments about Road Runner Pedal Board All-In-1 Gig Bag:

Pretty rugged piece of equipment. I own a Line 6 Bass Floor POD and have a personal mixer I use for in-ears on my Road Runner Gig Bag. It holds them nice and keeps them in really good shape. I have been on the road constantly for over a year now and the Road Runner has held up Extremely well! I haven't dropped it from a big height or thrown it around a ton, but it does its job and it keeps my gear working and looking GREAT!!! I would recommend this to any one who is trying to save a few bucks and doesn't need a tank to hold your pedals.

not bad at all.

Comments about Road Runner Pedal Board All-In-1 Gig Bag:

after many years of playing bass I now have some effects. Got a pedal tuner and thought it would be much easier to put together a pedal board then to throw them all out on the floor and repack them every time I play. Didn't need anything fancy and this little guy fit the bill. Closes up nicely, everything stays in place, transports easily, dosn't slip around on stage. Just a nice set up and not that costly. I like it!

I Bought This For Cheap - But It's Worth Lots More

By Joe V.

from Anza, Califoirnia - 92539

Comments about Road Runner Pedal Board All-In-1 Gig Bag:

I didn't want a full-on stomp case and I only have a few pedals that I need for bass. I decided to give this a try and am presentably surprised with it. I put a power-strip in the top and arranged my pedals on the bottom row. When I go to close it all up, the 20-foot power cable also fits inside the closed area and I can carry a lot of cables and gear in the outside enclosure too. I just coil the 12 foot amp cable and the 20 foot instrument cable to the bass inside the same bag with the pedals and zip it closed. The case itself is pretty firm and won't sag when the gear's inside it and the shoulder strap is nice to old guys like me. This hook-n-loop tape that comes with it has got to be the meanest stuff I've ever run into. Make sure you put it where you want it as there may not be a second chance to move it! Good value and great application for we who don't have 20 stomps to carry to a gig.

Don't Be Cheap, Buy A Better Board

      By Marco Paulson

      from Chicago, IL

Comments about Road Runner Pedal Board All-In-1 Gig Bag:

I have been playing a while, but have only just begun to use more than just one or two pedals. So, I wanted a board. I didn't want to spend a lot of $ b/c I don't have that many pedals, so I went this route. I could not be more disappointed. The construction is flimsy, the board slips on the floor, it's too "mushy" (meaning when I push down on the pedal, the whole board/bag smashes down too), and there's a raised border which makes it difficult to plug into the first pedal without a right angle jack. Last complaint - power - even with a power pack all those wires create a rats nest of confusing-ness that shreds any semblance of order or convenience of your pedals. Save yourself time & frustration & spend a few extra dollars to get something you'll be happy with and will last. On the plus side - Guitar Center has a fantastic return policy.

This Is More Of A Bag Than A Board.

      By Alan

Comments about Road Runner Pedal Board All-In-1 Gig Bag:

As I said above this is more of a way for me to carry my pedals than to perform with them. The top opens out and has to be folded under the case if you want to perform with it. This make the already soft bottom even softer and pushing buttons can be tricky because the whole thing mashes down when you apply pressure. I have an RP360XP and optional pedal switches that I gig with so I use this bag to transport them to the gig and set them up directly on the floor. If I had very many pedals I think I would be disapointed in this as a board. It's just not. It holds everything that I need with extra room and I am happy with it the way I use it but I would never use my pedals in it. It's just to soft. It is very well made though and stores all my pedal stuff in one place safely.

My problems are solved! at $40!

      By Mark Hunter

      from Greeley, CO

Comments about Road Runner Pedal Board All-In-1 Gig Bag:

I am first and foremost a DIY when it comes to everything. However, my pedal board was nice but heavy and custom made to fit the pedals I used most. What happens when you find another treasured pedal? Rebuild? Nope! just snag this high quality bag up. Nice on the back, fits anything and everything, nice strap, quality zippers, pockets, strap hooks, everything is top dollar. Buy one now before you have to pay over $100 for the same thing!
