This case is not the top of the line, but it's better than a gig bag. We just bought ours, so time will tell how well it holds up, but it seems like reasonably good protection especially for low to medium-end guitars. We are using ours for a Schecter Riot 6 because it's the only hard case we could find that would fit without putting stress on the neck.
Here's a strong and attractive, fleece lined case that allows you to strap down and secure your guitar inside the case. There's a large pocket for storing guitar-related items, secure latches (3) and a comfortable and well-placed handle (it's balanced). The only issue I had with the case was the smell of the glue inside the case. I solved that by putting two sheets of scented fabric softener in it (without the guitar), closing the case and letting it sit for several days. For the dollar cost, this is a very good case. Back in the day (for me that would be in the 1960s) a similar case would have cost the same amount it costs today. Pretty amazing given inflation over all those years. This case should have cost more.
I have gotten some good use out of this case and have had it for a little while, i would say about three months. It was going great until the strap that goes around your neck completely came off, just from me taking my guitar out and putting it back in. It isn't the best case you could get for the price and I would recommend a different one. It has ok storage but my ibanez moves around a bit and, like I said, it isn't very durable.
I bought the case for a Vox Tempest XII, and it fit just fine. I had the case for less than a month, and for most of the time, I did not move it or knock it around at all. I carried the case a few hundred feet on a couple of occasions, and even with this extremely light use, the valence stitched around the edge tore at one corner, exposing it's cardboard (chipboard) core. I suspect it was from merely opening and closing the case. The fact that this corner tore so easily with extremely light usage makes me question the durability of the rest of the case as well. I am taking the case back today, and hope I can find another that will fit my guitar.
This is an awesome case. I like the strap for the neck. Its nice because my guitar won't slide around when I'm carrying it around. The compartment is great too. Overall I really like this case.
this case is great. my guitar fits perfectly and i can put extra strings and stuff like that in the compartment. i am completely satisfied.
This case is a perfect fit for a telecaster and it is sturdy enough for normal run around use.I am pleased with the construction and it looks great.
This case is so much better than a gigbag...I LOVE IT!!! I highly recommend this awesome case to anyone out there who is buying an electric case.
I got this case as a gift and it fits my Epiphone Les Paul and my Yamaha Pacifica very well. This case is also nice because it has a neck strap so the guitar neck doesn't break. It also has a compartment for extra strings, picks, etc. If your looking for a good hardshell case look no farther.
