This is a great cymbal bag. I play in a band (For Better, For Worse) and its very helpful in carrying cymbals from gig to gig. It holds up to 5 cymbals + hi hats in the front pocket. There are cymbal dividers so the cymbals don't touch each other. But the isn't a divider for the hi hats. The very front pocket is good for accessories like a drum keys and moongels but its not big enough for my drumsticks. Its very durable and the wheels + handle make it very easy to move around. Although, the wheels and the 2 plastics pegs parallel to the wheels are not even with the wheels so it tips over when their are cymbals in it, but that might just be a manufacture defect. I can easily fit my 21" ride, 20" & 19" crashes and my 18" china + plus my hi hats. In all this is a great cymbal bag and you should get one!!!

This bag is good if you're going to be using it lightly for a smaller cymbal setup - maybe a 2 crashes, 1 ride, and hi hats. I was using this bag for 7 cymbals for weekend gigs and it broke on me within six months. The parts that broke were the zipper (the actual teeth completely fell apart because they couldn't handle the weight of the cymbals) and the strap handles. As with all cymbal bags, at the end of the day you have a backpack for your cymbals. It will help transport cymbals between locations but there is minimal protection if, say you have a van full of gear. However one positive of this bag, over say a Zildjian bag, is the good quality interior. There is also a thicker material on the bottom of the bag which prevents the entire bag from ripping and the wheels and handle are a plus. Regardless, the fact that the handles and zippers ripped rendered this bag useless for me.

If you're an active musician with a larger cymbal setup I would highly recommend saving your money and getting a better case. I bought the SKB hardshell I it's lasted me for five years through numerous tours! Hardshell also offer serious protection for your cymbals. Maybe it's a coincidence that I cracked two cymbals while using a bag and zero cymbals with a hardshell case

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

I usually wait a little while to review products but I bought this yesterday and love it. I have always carried my cymbals held together with an old clutch but not anymore! I plan to replace a few of my cymbals with nicer ones over the next few years and would like to keep them protected. I feel like this will do a great job,it has thick padding and it is wide enough for a few chinas. It will stand up by itself and that is what sold me on it over the cheaper version without wheels, unless you put it on some really padded carpet like I did yesterday. It fell over on the bass pedal and snare stand but nothing happened to the cymbals.

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

I bought this cymbal bag on the run a few minutes before I had to set up for a gig. I was looking for a cymbal bag that would stand up straight on it's own and didn't need to lean against anything. It LOOKED like that was what it was designed for. I WAS WRONG! The plastic legs opposite of the wheels are not long enough or sturdy enough for the bag to stand alone with a load of cymbals in it, no matter how you arrange or try to balance the cymbals inside. I know this is being picky, but when you are constantly setting up in tight spaces (the life of a drummer :) ) that was one thing I really wanted. Now I've got to get back out there and find one that actually does this? I'm looking towards Ahead bags. I know that the drum bags I have from them are top notch!

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

I mostly agree with the review from Tom of LA who said it's mostly a good buy, but that it lacks in certain areas. My biggest complaint is that when loaded with cymbals (and I only carry a ride, two crashes and hats most times) it won't stand on it's own - you still have to lean it up against something or it will fall over. I've actually given thought to trying to remove that whole part of the bag, but in the end I'll likely just get a different bag or maybe a case.

functionally it's ok though - it has sleeves on the inside that keep cymbals from banging into each other, and the side pockets are decent enough sized that I typically carry certain accessories such as my ART HeadTap and my in-ears, along with a Tune Bot.

My biggest disappointment in this bag is the roller feature because it's rare that I use it, and it just gets in the way. My opinion of course.

Otherwise, from a quality standpoint it has held up excellently - it's just not the right product for me.

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

This bag is great; i've played in the church with it and really helps me becaose I have like 6 cynbals and dough this bag is not meant for that i just put some toghether becaose the spaces are big and well paded. The only downfall on this nice product is that with cymbals incide it wont stand up on its own but with a small home improvement u can fix it. The weels are nice, solid and steady; great and easy. A MUST HAVE!!!!

        Great cymbal bag

        By Jose Arias

        from Atlanta, GA

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

I purchased this bag to transport my good cymbals from gig to gig and it was worth the money. The bag is tough, and the inside dividers are thicker than comparable bags. The wheels are a nice touch, but be warned that if you leave the bag standing by itself it will probably fall towards the front side that becomes the heaviest when you put your hi hats on the specially designed pocket. Great product.

Best Cymbal bag I've ever owned

        By L.S.

        from Rogers, MN

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

I've used it on two gigs and it sure makes life easy for me and the cymbals. The wheels are a big plus. I put the top HH cymbal in the hi-hat pocket and the bottom cymbal inside in one of the partitions. I didn't even have to take the lock spud off the top cymbal. I keep extra felts and nuts in the front pocket. I'm glad I got it!

Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels

        By l1k3ar0ck

        from PA

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

I have used this cymbal bag for the past year or so, and have played out quite a bit since. Though it isn't meant for it, I am able to fit a 22 inch ride, two 19 crashes, an 18 inch crash, two 17 inch crashes, two 18 inch chinas, a 9 inch splash, and my 14 inch hi hats in this case. Though it doesnt have enough dividers, I just double up on the 19's, the 17's, and the chinas, leaving the splash and the hats for the convenient hi hat pocket up front. Along with this auxilary pocket, this case also features another pocket up front for small essentials and tools. The wheels are very stable when being used with the expandable handle. Only downfall, this case is not very stable standing up on its own, especially when the cymbals are in it. The wheels and feet do not provide enough support to allow the case to stand on its own while taking cymbals out. Minor downfall, and there are ways of getting around it, but I think if this were to be improved, it would greatly help the drummer using it. all in all, great buy!

        Mostly a good buy.

        By Tom-V8hdK

        from Los Angeles, CA

Comments about Road Runner Cymbal Bag with Wheels:

This is a great case except that it doesn't stand up on it's own, with or without cymbals. The wheels and base are not sturdy enough to keep it from falling forward, even though the sales description says it does. I really like that it's lightweight and well padded but any time I'm not wheeling it around I have to lean it against something or it falls over. Next time I'll spend more on a better product.
