This Road Runner molded bass case is designed to fit a variety of electric bass guitars of various shapes. It has a non-scratch, thicker pile, plush-lined interior and padded neck brace with 2 accessory compartments—one covered and one open. For extra protection, the molded exterior is extremely roadworthy. The hardshell bass case also has a tongue-and-groove valance, rubber feet, 3 riveted latches—the middle one has a lock & key mechanism—and an offset handle for easier transportation.

    This case is downright a great case. I got just today so mine is new The molded plastic is tough to break or scratch and the plush is soft and cradling. My fender aerodyne p bass fits snugly and I love the velcro strap that secures the neck firmly in place so the bass doesn't move around much at all. The accessories compartment holds my strap and my cable which is great but I do like to store alot in my accessories compartment and I think the compartment is a little small. But other than that this is a great case.

    Just got it today for my Yamaha RBX6JM and I am very pleased with it, my bass just perfectly fit in to this case! At the store with a very friendly salesperson, we tried with a 6 string Ibanez SR and a 5 string EBMM Stingray and both just great fit. The neck support in the case can manage 4,-5,-6 string basses. Awesome construction inside! Yes, there is a velcro for more stabilization for the neck, makes sure your bass not move a milimeter at all. There is an other version of this case, with the jazzy molded shape inside, but the exterior looks very similar, so if you planning to buy this case,for multi bass use, look for the model number!   • Does The Job Admirably

    I bought this case at my Guitar Center several months ago for my Peavey Grind 6. It holds the big six perfectly, and the velcro strap keeps it snug and secure. It's picked up a few scratches after several gigs and several trips on the bus, but that's part of the feel and it has resisted any real damage. I'll be getting another one for my new six-string in a couple of days.
