  • Okee dokee

I needed a basic soft case for carrying my acoustic guitars around. This fits the bill. Seems well made, protects the instrument, which is the real key. The pocket on the front is a little small and strangely shaped but I'm not going to carry anything but some paper in it anyway.

  • Good case

As reviewed by Isabel on 1/4/2011

For the price, this is a very good case. I got this at my local guitar center because my Takamine EG440CS didn't come with a case. This fit the bill, luckily the store had a second EG440CS so I could see if it fit right there. The pocket on the outside won't be a big problem to me, because I carry my music in a shoulder bag (i have a lot of music). Most likely I will just put some picks and extra strings in there. Maybe even one of my guitar chords. So as I said, it won't be a big problem. This case is only temporary, I will get the Takamine hard case in June, so it does exactly what I need it to do... Protect my guitar! I have to give this case 4 stars instead of 5 though, because there are better cases out there. Say for example the next step up from this case... It is $10 more, but you get more comfortable straps and extra pockets. Then there's the soft hard case that is $60. You get more protection. I'd say probably the same amount of space for accessories as this, just not in a pocket. In a little compartment inside the case. So what I'm trying to say is, this is a good temporary case, but if you want a permanent case, go for a hard one.

  • Perfect inexpensive solution.

Its great if your on the budget, and it does the job done. I carry my tak around for gigs and this is perfect. Nothing to complain about, it could be a little better quality, however its not THAT poorly made. It feels like a regular backpack material, however the pockets in the front is pretty much useless, i only carry picks, capos, and a strap that basicly it. If you want more room, look for a different bag. The bigger pocket can only hold papers, but not big binders, or anything like that.
