  • Bad to the bone

As reviewed by Thunderbird 'bo on 5/16/2009

This gig bag is bad to the bone! It has plenty of room to put your gear in. It has a good removable backback. I play a thunderbird bass, so I need a big bag. This monster holds it well! Very thick padding all over! I know it cost more than most want to spend, but the extra padding is worth it.

  • Neat design, but not that well made

As reviewed by Mark on 8/28/2009

I bought and used one of these for quite some time. The gig bag itself was very good. However, the built in backpack was disappointing for a couple of reasons. The first is that the zipper fell apart and the backpack would not reattach. The second flaw is that even before it broke, the design is such that if you put very much in the backpack portion at all, then the weight is poorly distributed and you cannot set the bass against a wall upright or even on its side without it tipping over. Basically (no pun) you're better off getting a decent bass gig bag and a decent backpack, but not in a two in one design like this. I also don't have full trust in Roadrunner's build quality. The bag was not really built to last.

  • Don't waste your money

As reviewed by Clarke on 6/24/2009

I used this bag a mere 6 times when it started to come apart at the seams. What a load of rubbish.
