  Bought this box to replace the Odyssey case we've had for about 5 years now, got tired of dragging that behemoth out for every gig so we moved down to this. We've already got one in our fleet, so the decision to get a second was simple. It's MUCH lighter but every bit as durable as our Odyssey case. Making transport a breeze, and when you're working a new location every week that's a huge factor.

  I baught this case to house my studiolive 16.0.2 Digital mixer and its the perfect fit with room to spare for cables etc. One awesome thing most people dont realize is that this rack case is acually 3 space !! they come with a thin panel mounted in the front, just remove that panel and you have 3 rack spaces! i have a driverack pa+ along with a furman power conditioner and my bands in ear transmiter all mounted in here, its nice and compact and doesnt take up nearly as much space as my old 10 space vertical rack. I mix the band from stage and im the drummer, I use the top cover as a stand and then put the mixing rack on top of that and its the perfect hight ! its right there on the side of me easy to reach the faders of the mixer for adjustments during the gig! this is a very well made heavy duty case that offers the best protection in my opinion for expensive gear like the studiolive 16.0.2. I am very happy with it!

  We needed a mixer case that could house a Allen & Heath 16 Wizard along with a DBX Drive rack and a dual 32 EQ for the monitors. This was perfect for our application. It's rugged with a couple of great features. The back has an access panel that allows access to inputs, etc. instead of being completely opened. Once you have the PA set, you can actually place the cover back onto the mixer to protect in those siutations like outdoors, rowdy bar, etc. We play outdoors and it's the best thing we've found. One minor criticism - the handles are mounted such that it is extremely difficult and awkward to pick the unit up - it really takes two people. How about wheel and a suitcase-style pull handle.
