Like the rest of the Riptide ukuleles in this category, the Boulder Creek UC-5NS Concert Ukulele features a laminated all-mahogany design that offers a traditional rich, yet mellow tone. This one is definitely in the "Top-of-its-Class" for tone, beauty, and value.

The exclusive "Dual Port System" projects the sound to both the audience and the player. Moving the front sound port away from the center of the soundboard helps to increase volume, tone, and sustain on all Boulder Creek ukuleles. Die cast tuning machines and perfect fret leveling make them stay in tune and play easier than ukes costing much more.

    We bought this Uke for our daughter a year an a half ago. She has many Ukes, but this is her go-to Uke. The sound is simply amazing! Very well made, and beautiful. Well worth the price or more.
