This is a must have tool for any drummer. This makes tuning faster, easier, and more precise. It also gives many options to choose how tight you want your lugs to be. I Strongly recommend this to beginners or for someone who simply can't tune drums well. Personally i haved only played for a couple of years so i dont have much experience with tuning or playing. But the ProTorq makes tuning a whole lot easier and makes it sound great
This key gets the heads close, quickly. Just don't expect it to work miracles. You still need to fine tune each lug by ear and find a pitch you like. It is a good first step, and nice for getting the tensions of the batter/resonant heads the way you want relative to one another.
Great simple tunning key, helps to ensure right number of turns around the rim, great price compared with the electronic ones. I recomend it to all drummers, regardless of experience.
