This guitar combines the distinctive upper-mid growl of the Revtron pickup with the classic twang of a 25.5" scale maple neck. The result is a distinctively clean-yet-warm twang with excellent sustain, making it right at home playing rockabilly, blues, or rock.
Reverend design their own proprietary custom pickups to achieve the best tonal match with their instruments. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position for balanced volume and tone when switching.
Dual-action truss rod
This dual-action truss rod adjusts in both directions, allowing back bow or forward bow. This assures correct adjustment range is possible regardless of string tension, extreme climate conditions, or the effects of long-term aging. It's also located at the headstock for easy access.
Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-lightweight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing lively, responsive instruments rich in harmonics.
Reverend use a graphite impregnated nut on all Reverend instruments. Graphite reduces friction, allowing the strings to easily slide through the nut slots, improving tuning stability.
This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips.
A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes.

Comments about Reverend Flatroc Electric Guitar:
I use to work for a guitar shop for many years. I have taken hundreds if not thousands of guitars out of the box new and put them on the wall. 99% of all those guitars needed new strings, set ups, cleanings and more. This guitar is the 1st guitar that I pulled out of the box and it was set up perfectly!
As far as playability it is smooth. I like feeling the fret board and it makes a difference in the guitar to me. 1st rosewood board that didn't feel like total junk wood. It's nice and dark and is not dried out.
This pickups on this stock are actually really nice. I love tinkering with guitars and this is the 1st guitar I havent wanted to change anything on. Not even the the capacitor.
Features that come stock between the graphite nut and the locking turners make actually a great difference. I had not tried this guitar before I bought it, which I never do, but I figured worse case I'll change what was need for electronics but this is the the first guitar I haven't even wanted to change anything. This guitar is a total surprise and I say if your looking for something different and your tired of the bigger companies sacrificing quality for quantity then give reverend a try!!
