Overview

Merino Wool makes this Reunion Blues Guitar Strap soft and comfortable. 2"-wide, 100% Merino Wool with full-grain leather ends. Adjustable up to 73.5". Limited lifetime warranty included.

Merino wool is widely considered to be one of the finest grades of wool, renowned for being very soft and comfortable against the skin. It also has advantages over other materials used for guitar straps because Merino wool breathes, allowing it to absorb perspiration and release it into the air--which is beneficial during onstage performances. This is a guitar strap that is durable, comfortable, and easy to care for.

Reunion Blues instrument bags are distinguished by elegant design, are made of durable leather or fabric, offer protection of a unique double-foam system, and have soft fabric linings, roomy accessory pockets and shoulder or backpack straps for easy transport. They are constructed so as to provide a snug fit without damaging pressure on sensitive instrument components. They also come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Perfect for Big Basses

By Michael Maniscalco

from Clifton NJ

Comments about Reunion Blues Merino Wool Guitar Strap:

I'm a big guy, 6'2'' who plays big basses - Thunderbird, Fender, P-Special, Ibanez ATK, etc...I typically use 3" leather straps preferring Levy's. I tried this Reunion Blues strap out after I saw it on the rack and felt how soft yet strong it seemed. It is the most comfortable strap I use, go figure, a 2" wide wool strap is more comfy on my big pieces of lumber than a 3'' thick and padded leather strap! One note, I echo the first reviewers comments on the metal piece, my problem is not the buckle but the part that the lower leather end slides on, it does whack the bass when you put it on and take it off, but not while you play. I covered the metal in black electrical tape and problem solved ;-)

Comfortable strap but beware of the buckle

By Andrew

from Hillsborough, NJ

Comments about Reunion Blues Merino Wool Guitar Strap:

Whenever I buy a new guitar, I always buy a new strap just for it. Normally I prefer cotton straps but the store didn't have any in stock and I saw this. It's relatively expensive compared to my normal Levi's cotton straps but it feels great and the leather ends have a nice firmness to them. Since the screws on my guitar are too big for any of the strap locks currently on the market, the sturdy leather ends of this strap are somewhat comforting. As I stated in the title, watch out for the buckle. It's metal and although not heavy, I've whacked my guitar with it a few times already while putting it on a stand. Luckily there's no damage but it hit hard enough that I had to check to make sure. As long as you're aware of it, I don't think it'll be a big deal. Knowing what I know now I still would have bought the strap (unless my trusty ole Levi's cotton is available).
